A website that plays Quranic MP3s. Is there such a thing? The closest I have came across is Islam Way (which by the way, is where I got all these MP3s from), but one has to download them first. As a result of this, I said to myself: why not have a website with a one-click playback for Quranic MP3s?
After downloading the MP3s, I thought: Blogger is one of the many great blog hosting sites, and imeem is a vibrant place where millions share their music, videos and photos with others. I have been blogging quite a bit, and I have uploaded some songs on imeem, so why not bring these two together?
So, after much toil and trouble, I present to you the end product: The Holy Koran | One-Click Playback & Download For Quranic MP3s! Playlists of Quranic MP3s by four Qaris, a la blog entries. The Surahs are in groups of 19, for easier searching and playback. You might be asking, why THESE four? It is because I personally like their way of reading, and to me, they are the more prominent ones. I have also included some links to useful sites regarding Islam in general.
Buy why stop at just listening while you're online, right? How about listening to it on your MP3 player, wherever you go? Well, you can! I've also included the links to the Surahs for you to download. All 114 Surahs, by all 4 Qaris featured on this blogsite! Narrated Ibn Abbas r.a.: The Prophet pbuh narrating about his Lord said, "Allah ordered (the angels appointed over you) that the good and the bad deeds be written, and He then showed (the way) how (to write). If somebody intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account with Him); and if he intends to do a good deed and actually does it, then Allah will write for him (in his account) with Him (its reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times, to many more times; and if somebody intended to do a bad deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write a full good deed (in his account) with Him, and if he intended to do a bad deed and actually does it, then Allah will write one bad deed (in his account)". (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Hadith No. 498.)
